Lucy River

Lucy was born and raised in Ireland where she was a professional television and stage actress and drama teacher, studying at the Dublin Institute of Technology and Trinity College.  In addition to her work with LSF, Lucy has co-delivered life-skills ‘passport’ programs at the Santa Fe Community College, and has been an independent project manager for the Green Burial Council and the AML Foundation. She and her husband David run a successful facilitation practice - River Consulting LLC. Together they have worked with New Mexico First to facilitate Town Hall Meetings for statewide policy development and the Center for Nursing Excellence to develop an action plan for nursing staff recruitment and retention in New Mexico. She received a scholarship from the New Mexico Center for Non-Profit Excellence in order to participate in the UNM Anderson School of Management Business Essentials program. She is a budding romance novelist and has a baby girl called Lily.
